Digital Grant

As part of the Queensland state government’s attempts to support small businesses with digital transformation, a new digital grant is opening on 11th November and closing at 5 pm on the 10th December.

The grant is targeting small businesses who want to access new digital technologies and services. Watch our Webinar with Adam Carter to find out more.

How does it work?

The Queensland government will support businesses with a $10,000 grant for ‘matched funding’. This means that you yourselves as a business need to budget $10,000 for online strategies and initiatives and the government will match that with another $10,000.

The technology or service must fall under one of the four priority areas:

  • content development (web pages, mobile apps, visual and audio media etc.)
  • receiving payments or selling online
  • specialised digital technology or software (business specific)
  • digital planning, digital marketing strategy development, and digital training

So you could use this for advice, ongoing support, building a website, e-commerce solutions and so on. If in doubt, ask us and we’ll clarify for you.

Am I eligible?

The requirements are pretty broad and should cover most small businesses.

  • fewer than 20 employees
  • ABN & registered for GST
  • have Queensland headquarters
  • turnover of $2M or less
  • not be insolvent

Do I have to do the application myself?

As seen in the video above, Adam Carter can help support businesses in applying for these grants and has a 70% success rate. But you can also do it yourself if you wish.

What do I do next?

If you are interested, please submit the following form and we’ll talk you through the steps you need to take to make sure you’re ready to apply once the grant opens.
